Переглядів 2,6 тис.3 місяці тому
Those anglers who are familiar with the lake trout know this fish is rarely found in shallow water. Most of the year a lake trout lives up to it’s nickname the “Denizen of the Deep”, preferring to spend time in water 100 feet deep or more! In the fall of the year, lake trout are forced to abandon the security of deep water to seek out preferred spawning reefs, break-walls and places where rock ...

The Detroit River is to walleye fishermen, what Lake St. Clair is to smallmouth bass anglers. There simply is no better place to catch a mess of walleye than the Detroit River in April, or is there? For as good as the Detroit River is in April, a similar bite takes place in November that few anglers know about. Forget about dealing with crowded public access sites, in November you’ll find less ...

Using Soft Plastic Trailers for Spinnerbaits
if i have exactly 100' of line on as you describe how to do it then lets say... i have fish 50' out i let out the correct line. then i get a snag and loose an unknown amount of line cause its still in the water and it broke off. do i just reel the broke off remainder back to the tip and reset the line counter on the reel every time or do i have to measure out 100' for every broken snag with unknown string lost?? or is it just as good to buy a rod attach line counter and let out 50' for the fish depth? then if i have a snag and loose unknown amounts of line no biggie, just reel it in and reset the line counter attached to the reel, like Berkley or a digital line counter? then im back to the exact feet needed at that time, thanks
Why cant i find this app?
With those divers, I didn’t think you needed the releases? I bought two OR36 size 3’s. I want to troll with my Hobie pedal kayak. Do I need those release clips? Which ones do I buy? Thx
What is the best pitch prop for this same boat with merc 150 sea pro?
YOU FUNNY GUY
Trolling for Muskie is this really necessary since your not really letting out that much there probably is many dive charts for Muskie is there
Awesome video 💪
So , my question is. The Fish Hawk doesn't tell you Current Direction ? 🤔
How come on the app there’s nothing about crawler harnesses
I just recently changed over to the small boards what kind of snaps do you use on the boards for trolling the jets
Its not speed over ground, its speed thru the water, big difference. The whole point of this unit is to know how current is affecting your tackle at depth.
Video was 👍 nice fish. Getting ready to head out tomorow to catch some toads. Don’t wanna be that guy but I was a little surprised with the way old timer guide was handling all the fish.😂 I grew up in cooper and have some close friends that guide that section of river have never seen a guide handle fish like that.
Agreed
Do you use the jet divers with the boards I tried that and it seems to pull the boards really hard
Wow just seeing this out of the box ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxQr1yd4Zc6qJF-scTB6Zb9dQbVpviuRxB recommend I have yet to fish with this set up, but based on the first hands on appeal, I can tell this is going to change the way i pack and carry to a whole new level. If you fish like i do, you know the smaller and less stuff the better. I’ve added a photo of just some of my gear so you can see how serious i am about fishing.
Except how does it deploy.....do you crank it backwards and it just releases or am I spinning the handle backwards til desired rope is out
How does your rod not slide out that low? Looks like a rocket style holder.
What weight anchor is used in this video?
Can I install this on the Hobie mirage passport 10.5 ?
What weight anchor did you use in the video? What weight anchors have some of the viewers used?
The DNR drop the stock at Top-tobe I dont know spell it sorry but there is Pigeon river is right there and the fish can go to the river or stay in the lake. And Mullett lake is big gos too lake Huron its got a lock for boats.
Muskey also.
Thank you. This is just what I needed to know.
PTD completely changed my trolling game, you the man Mark
For a similar amount of money, go for a Hewescraft Sportman 160/180. Much better boat.
First video I found with a closeup of the transducer actually shown on the boat transom itself. Thank you so much
WAY too much advertising. 1/2 is content, 1/2 ads.
Lower Niagara 😊
By far the best most informative vid I have seen on how to use trolling stuff. Thank you very much :)
Hey Mark...I know this is an older video but I am wondering. I live in MN and fish Mississippi P3 and 4. and Lake Vermilion. I have never seen or heard of anyone trolling spoons for eyes around here. Is this more of a great lakes presentation? Thanks for the video
Honestly I’ve never tried to pull spoons in the Mississippi River pools. All spoons work great here in the Great Lakes but my guess is that Crankbaits would work better for you. Thanks for reaching out! If you have more questions email me at mark@fishing411.net
My ? would be if you start at the end of your pole & calibrate the reel from there, what about the extra 5 ft. or so of line using a leader to the lure so as a worm harness. Is that figured in the equation or it could be 5 ft. more then the line counter starts off with.
Looks alot nicer than an Alumaweld
Those are dinks
Love 411 TV and the Romanak's scientific approach to fishing! No a "Look at Me catch Fish Show"!! I also love my back and know it's well worth the one time price of the seat. Looking forward to using in my boat! Thanks Mark!
300# max ?
You guys are either super ballsy or something else holding onto these walleye with crank baits hanging out of their mouth and you don’t even have fish grips or any way to make sure they don’t flop around and plant a hook in your finger.
Why did they stop making it?
Buenos sus videos, saludos
When trolling in a lake I like to run a 4.0 mag lip hooks removed then about a 30in leader and a 2.0 or 2.5 behind it , works lile a champ ,the 4.0 acts as a diver and the fish attack the smaller plug
This was extremely informative
When Buzz talks, it’s like music to our ears!
Great show. Love the misses. Love the catches.
Nice show but way to MANY commercials..
I would have a hard time not eating one...
Link please
was impressed till i seen the price $649.00 for one seat no thanks
Only issue with this is yes this works and is accurate but after rolling a while and after pulling fish after fish that line snugs tighter together in the spool therefore changing the feed diameter and throws calibration off
Hola como se llama ese tipo de truchas, gracias
They're all pretty much grey underwater. That being said, I still have my favorite colors.
Short and to the point thank you!
Ever let any go
